Marshall is expert in the design, installation, commissioning and testing of avionics upgrades, having a proven track record in delivering upgrades to numerous fleets.

Civil and military aircraft are designed to provide several decades of reliable service. However, achieving such longevity depends on not only conducting routine maintenance but also by overcoming avionics obsolescence issues, remaining compliant with emerging airspace regulations, e.g. Performance Based Navigation (PBN) and, in the defence world, keeping tactical capabilities current.

Importantly, Marshall project manages all upgrades to ensure a timely return to service. The process starts with establishing exact baselines for each of the aircraft to be modified coupled with a clear understanding of the customer’s operational requirements. For instance, if the upgrade is to include the addition of satellite communications then, based on the customer’s intended operations, Marshall can advise on which variant of satellite communication system will best suit.
